Technical Security Consultant

Job Description

The Sr. Security Consultant is primarily responsible for all security related to Systems, Datacenter, and Cloud Infrastructure. As a Sr. Security Consultant at PVM you are expected to ensure all projects and initiatives under SDC team are being done on a secure way. You will be joining a Global Systems and Datacenter team under Technical Solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Key person for IT infrastructure-security projects
  • Develop plans and processes to protect on-premise and cloud environments
  • Design secure architecture for global infrastructure environments
  • Contribute to the security and risk management of the infrastructure by building systems that detect, assess, and mitigate risks
  • Provide support for the introduction of new/incoming technologies and systems
  • Lead the projects related to security analysis, controls audit, assessment and mitigation
  • Lead IT Disaster Recovery Plan project along with partners
  • Attend and participate in the weekly Infra-security joint meeting
  • Create documentation and build process for handover to SOC or Infrastructure Operations

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of security in System, Data Center, and Cloud (Microsoft Azure preferred) on an enterprise environment
  • Fundamental understanding of IAM principles and concepts, capable of supporting on-premise and cloud based Identity (Active Directory) services
  • Foundation knowledge and experience on Compute (server, storage and network)
  • Experience in different security solutions (e.g. Tenable.io, CrowdStrike and etc.)
  • AWS experience is a plus • Experience in implementing cryptographic controls
  • Knowledge and experience to comply ISO 27001, NIST and GDPR
  • Experience on a hybrid and multi-cloud environment is a plus
  • Experience on design/implementation Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) for Enterprises
  • Good understanding of Enterprise scale Incident Management solution

Qualification

  • 5+ years technical security experience
  • Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology / Master in Information Security
  • At least one of the following: CASP, CEH, GSEC, CCSP, SSCP
