Project Manager (Mid-Level)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a capable and detail-driven Mid-Level IT Project Manager to support the planning and execution of various IT initiatives. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end delivery of medium-scale projects, coordinate with cross functional teams, and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a solid understanding of IT systems, project management best practices, and Lean principles to reduce waste, improve processes, and deliver impactful solutions. You will manage end-to-end project lifecycles, along with the ability to balance business and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives while promoting continuous improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities

Manage the full project lifecycle of IT projects, from planning and execution to delivery and closure.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.

Create and maintain project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and risk logs.

Apply Lean project management principles to streamline workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and maximize value.

Track progress and ensure timely resolution of issues and blockers.

Coordinate between business users, technical teams, vendors, and other departments.

Monitor project budgets and ensure financial controls are in place.

Prepare regular project status reports and present updates to management.

Ensure documentation, approvals, and post-project evaluations are completed.
Core Qualifications and Education

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

3–5 years of experience managing IT projects, preferably with both infrastructure and application components.

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid models).

Experience applying Lean or continuous improvement practices within project environments.

Effective communicator with excellent organizational, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities

Advantages (but not required):
● Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, or Lean Six Sigma (Yellow/Green Belt).
● Experience using tools like Jira, MS Project, Clickup or Monday.com.
● Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) and frameworks like ITIL.
● Exposure to enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, or core banking systems.
● Working knowledge of change management and team performance optimization.
