MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Build, deploy, and support/maintain Networking, Databases, Software, and Servers within the Azure environment (IaaS, SaaS).
2. Interact directly with OS support and/or vendors for troubleshooting and enhancements
3. Engage with and support regional clients
4. Performs installation of approved software on servers, following the standard procedures.
5. Configure and install (or coordinate) upgrades/fixes or patches.
6. Assists with evaluation, analysis and maintenance of equipment to meet technical and security standards.
7. Assist with evaluation of efficiency and cost effectiveness of a solution/resolution.

Primary Technical abilities:

• Deep technical subject matter expertise and practical experience in the Cloud Azure Environment
  • Compute:
    • Administrative knowledge on deploying VMs into virtual networks and configuring it for optimum cost, performance and Security standards.
    • Configuration of VM back-up and providing failover recovery in respect to the RTO and RPO.
  • Storage:
    • Setup and configuration of the storage (ind. containers)
    • Secured data access
    • archiving and back-up
  • Network:
    • Deploying and configuring virtual networks
    • orchestrating routing paths/hybrid cloud
    • managing public and private IP addresses
  • Security:
    • Azure Active Directory (hybrid AD)
    • Reducing surface attack on all azure resources

Secondary Technical abilities:

• Experience with AWS cloud technologies
• Knowledge on other virtualization technologies like Microsoft Hyper-V, Citrix XenServer
• Knowledge in Network configuration
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.
• Experience with Containers
• Experience with DevOps environment
• Knowledge in ITIL framework
