Senior Boomi Developer

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Designing and building Boomi AtomSphere processes, connectors, and error-handling logic for order, inventory, payment, and customer data flows.
2. Integrating Shopify and commercetools storefronts with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP to keep revenue-critical data in sync.
3. Implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control workflows using Azure DevOps or GitLab for integration packages.
4. Building monitoring, alerting, and retry logic to maintain near-zero downtime across middleware solutions.
5. Partnering with an Integration Lead to refine architectural patterns, contribute to story estimates, and validate acceptance criteria.
6. Diagnosing integration incidents, running root-cause analysis, and delivering clear, timely updates to both business and engineering stakeholders.
7. Scripting automation tasks and data transformations in PowerShell, Bash, or Python as part of the integration toolkit.
8. Contributing to performance optimization proposals, playbooks, and technical
   documentation to raise team standards over time.

Primary Technical abilities:

Must Have:

• Availability to work mid-to-late shift hours to support US and Australian collaborators.
• 5+ years in enterprise integration or middleware engineering, with at least 3 years
designing Boomi AtomSphere processes.
• Proven experience connecting ERP systems (preferably Dynamics 365) with
eCommerce or SaaS platforms.
• Strong command of REST and GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and message queue
paradigms such as Azure Service Bus, Kafka, or SQS.
• Hands-on CI/CD experience and scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Solid understanding of data-mapping, transformation patterns, and error-handling best practices in integration workflows.

Strong Advantage:

• Direct experience integrating Shopify and/or commercetools with Dynamics 365 in a production environment.
• Exposure to Azure Integration Services including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and
Event Grid.
• Familiarity with order-to-cash or inventory management business processes and the data flows that support them.
• Experience owning integration monitoring and incident response, including building alerting and retry frameworks.

Nice to Have:

• Boomi Professional Developer or Architect certification.
• Exposure to MuleSoft, SnapLogic, or other enterprise iPaaS platforms.
• Technical writing experience, including authoring integration runbooks or API documentation.
