I. JOB SUMMARY:

Ensures that business requirement specification are analyzed and understood properly and able to translate into functional specifications and test cases.

Evaluates and tests new or modified software programs and software development procedures used to verify if programs are functioning according to user requirements and conform to established guidelines.

Ensures that the system is released conforming to the functions and requirements set and agreed by the customer and development, supported by the Test Summary Report and/or Acceptance Test Certificate.

Reviews test cases and test reports created by team members.

Provides valuable inputs on improving processes and arising from system related changes.

Applies knowledge and experience to mostly routine situations; application of working or functional knowledge and capability in a particular process or method; performs independent action according to acceptable standards and guidelines; may require minimal assistance in unfamiliar situations.

II. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• QA Process Knowledge
  1. Understand and comply with the defined and agreed Software Development Life Cycle and CMMI standards of the organization.
  2. Understands various approaches used in testing.
  3. Able to apply appropriate test design techniques in writing Test Cases.
  4. Creates test effort estimation based on the provided requirements for small to large sized projects.
  5. Develops effective test strategies and plans. Creates a Master Test Plan.
  6. Reviews Test Cases and Test Scripts written by any team members. Make recommendations as necessary.
  7. Able to apply appropriate test design techniques in writing Test Cases.
  8. Writes Test Cases and Test Scripts, Creates Test Data and Requirement Traceability Matrix.
  9. Properly executes the given test cases / test scripts, identifies the correct behavior of the system under test, replicates and reports uncovered defects.

  11. Writes clear and precise defect reports as required for identified software defects and functional defects based on testing results.
  12. Writes and submits Test Summary Report and/or Test Acceptance Certificate.
  13. Facilitates the Peer Review of the RTM, Test Cases and Test Summary Report and/or Acceptance Test Certificate.
  14. Reviews and analyzes test results and makes recommendations.
  15. Enforces quality procedures and guidelines across the Software Development Life Cycle.
  16. Contributes to the continuous improvement of the QA procedures and guidelines.
  17. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, break down high-level information into details, abstract up low level information to a general understanding, and classify user requests between must have and not.
  18. Deliver the following documents as needed Functional Requirements and Use Cases by proactively communicating and collaborating with customers to analyze information needs and business requirements.
  19. Satisfy customer by providing clear testing specifications and quality product according to specified requirements.
  20. Collaborates with Automation Quality Analysts for the initiation of automation testing for the project if possible.
  21. Exhibits confidence in understanding the business concerns and provides sound business suggestions and recommendations accordingly.

  1. Records activities in ATLAS and reports/elevates issues to superior when needed;
  2. Conducts needed audit to ensure compliance to the procedures in CMMI;

IV. JOB SPECIFICATIONS

The candidate must have:

• obtained a Bachelor’s or College degree in either of the following – Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology and/or related field.
• at least five (5) years working experience in Quality Assurance and/or testing with E-Commerce Testing Experience
• Must be proficient in writing test cases and test scripts;
• Must have an experience in creating a Master test plan;
• Must have an in-depth understanding of Test Design Techniques, QA methodologies and SDLC (both Waterfall and Agile Development)
• With extensive knowledge of QA testing tools, different test approaches, standards and process;
• Exposure in business operations related to manufacturing, distribution and financial operations will be an advantage
• Experience in various system development environment;
• Experience in leading a QA team in small to medium sized projects.
• ISTQB Testing Certification is a plus but not required.

GENERAL FUNCTION

The Data Quality Analyst’s role is to strategically manage various customer attributes ensuring high levels of data quality, integrity, availability, and privacy. The individual will also support the Regional Sales Analyst, providing various ad-hoc and reoccurring data analysis for a variety of projects and tasks. This includes monitoring key data quality metrics to ensure data accuracy, and standardizing/developing efficient approaches to daily reporting. The data quality analyst should focus on business benefits and strategic significance of the quality to the sales organization. Additionally, this individual will serve as a facilitator and liaison with other departments to address any customer/sales data discrepancies.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop partnerships with regional sales analyst to understand their needs and provide expedited data review.
• Compile and communicate steps taken on customer cleansing analysis to ensure stakeholder tasks have been completed.
• Provide territory analysis, including sales rep coverage to understand assignment gaps.
• Evaluate majority sales owner to determine proper coverage and assignment of campaigns and opportunities.
• Assist in developing SOP’s to ensure consistent process across projects and activities.
• Provide CRM support for sales consultant knowledge checkouts to ensure sales team is properly leveraging the platform.
• Identify and manage the resolution of data quality issues, such as uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, and consistency in a timely fashion.
• Perform recurring and ad hoc updates of CRM fields and assignments to provide accurate and actionable information for internal users and sales teams.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams on CRM enhancements, reports, and user reported issues including addressing emailed support requests, creating tickets, troubleshooting, testing and communicating resolutions to users.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
