Responsibilities:
- Work under the ISS directives to monitor compliance on both patching and anti-virus management, investigate and implement solutions on non-compliance and perform regular patching activities.
- Perform Antivirus and encryption management tasks including but not limited to: optimized antivirus deployment, antivirus console account management, policy management and threat prevention setup.
- Perform Patch management tasks include: maintaining current knowledge of available patches, deciding what patches are appropriate for particular systems, ensuring that patches are installed properly, testing systems after installation, and documenting all associated procedures.
- Test new releases of products to ensure compatibility and minimize user impact.
- Basic troubleshooting and implementation of solution in conjunction with vendor and thirdparty support within the applicable technology platform that you will be responsible for.
- Recommend and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system in upgrading/patching.
- Develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed.
- Adhere to strict Information Systems security guidelines in all cases.
- Compliance KPI Reporting on an agreed interval
- Drive resolving/addressing low compliance (not simply reporting but addressing low compliance)
- Comply and being proactive with the ITSM processes lifecycle & SLA standards
- Pro-active in ensuring stability, response time, operational consistency and life cyde over the patching and anti-virus components for Infrastructures, while providing monthly reports on activity, quality and performance on Patching
- Has initiative to participate in emerging projects.
- Report on administration and project progress to the ISS Team Leader, Delivery Manager and Infrastructure Head.
- Able to contribute to appropriate documentation, including procedures for the Operations & Services and Pre-Production departments
- Follow training plans, requirements and schedules as outlined. Complete and keep up to date with all Mandatory trainings
Primary Technical abilities:
- . Knowledge in Security and Anti-Virus & encryption (e.g Bitlocker, Defendery) experience.
- Knowledge and experience in managing and handling Antivirus/encryption tool primarily Defender/Bitlocker but not limited to.
- Basic knowledge and experience on Windows Server Operating Systems Patching and troubleshooting 4. Basic knowledge on Patching tools such as but not limited to InTune, SSCM, WSUS, Ivanti or BigFix
- Basic System administration in windows OS as well as powershell scripting
Secondary Technical abilities:
- Has understanding in IT Software and Hardware
- Basic Knowledge in using a Scheduling Software (example: Solarwinds, CA Unicenter Autosys, or $Universe..)
- Basic Knowledge in using a Monitoring Software (example: CA Unicenter NSM, BMC, Tivoli, or Microsoft SCOM…)
- Basic knowledge in Public doud Azure and AWS patching

- 2 years of experience in system administration and troubleshooting.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn and grow in the I.S. profession
- Team player must be able to work with people within and outside of the IT department.
